Ryan Carl

Ryan is a graphic designer and art director based in New York. His work is rooted in simplicity and influenced by his academic background in religion and philosophy; he enjoys exploring themes of identity, hope, and togetherness.

He works in both analogue and digital to craft artwork and visual stories that incorporate language, typography, color and simple geometric forms.

Ryan’s clients include Nike, Google, J.Crew, Warby Parker, MoMA. He also uses his work for activism, contributing to causes such as Black Lives Matter, WHO’s Covid-19 Response Fund, Refugees International and WWF.
